German iron ore import prices down 27.4 percent in May

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in May of the current year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 27.4 percent year on year and was down 0.2 percent month on month.

In May, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 3.5 percent year on year and declined by 0.2 percent as compared to April.

Meanwhile, in May this year the import price of nickel fell by 9.5 percent year on year and was down by 0.4 percent month on month.
