Georgia’s steel pipe imports from Turkey up 12.3 percent in Jan-Oct

In the January-October period of the current year, Georgia's total external trade turnover with Turkey, which is the second biggest trading partner of the country, amounted to $1.26 billion, including exports worth $151.03 million, down 6.2 percent, and imports worth $1.11 billion, increasing three percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

 

In the first ten months of this year, Georgia's imports of steel tubes and pipes from Turkey amounted to 55,495 mt, up 12.3 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the value of these imports totaled $35.91 million, up 32.5 percent on year-on-year basis.
