Furnace blast kills worker at Mexico's Deacero

A blast in a furnace at a Deacero’s mill in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, has killed a worker, according to media reports.

The Mexican steelmaker did not respond to a request for comment. The extent of the damages to the plant remain unknown, as well as if production was affected.

According to media reports, the worker was inside the mill’s thin wire plant.
