Freight volumes on China’s roads up 6.2 percent in January-November

In November this year, the freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 3.3 billion mt, up 7.5 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese roads totaled 620.0 billion mt-km, rising by 6.3 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In the January-November period of the current year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads totaled 32.25 billion mt, up 6.2 percent year on year, while the freight traffic volume on Chinese roads amounted to 5.8742 trillion mt-km, rising by 5.9 percent year on year.
