China's FAI in transportation totals RMB 1.5 trillion in H1 2026

Total fixed asset investments (FAI) in transportation in China totaled RMB 1.5 trillion ($0.22 trillion), down 6.25 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Transportation (MOT). 

In particular, the FAI in roads and waterways in China amounted to RMB 779.704 billion ($114.5 billion) and 1.019 trillion ($0.15 trillion), down 9.8 percent and up 0.6 percent year on year, respectively.
