France's metal industry output up slightly in Dec over Nov

France's manufacturing output in December last year remained unchanged compared to November according to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
 
In December, France's production in manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, increased by 0.6 percent month on month, after a month-on-month decrease of two percent in November. In December, the country's production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers industry saw an increase of 3.6 percent on month-on-month basis after a 3.5 percent month-on-month increase recorded in the previous month, while the output of the domestic construction industry increased by 4.5 percent month on month in December, after remaining unchanged percent in November compared to October.
