In June this year, local French steel scrap prices have indicated just a slight increase compared to May, according to the latest data issued by the French Steel Federation (FFA).
However, on year-on-year basis, in June local French scrap prices decreased by a significant €23/mt ($26/mt) on average, as shown in the following table:
