FLSmidth to supply rolling mill system to NTMK

The Danish cement and minerals technology supplier FLSmidth has announced the conclusion of a contract worth €39 million with Austrian company MFL Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Giesserei GmbH. for the supply of a rolling mill system to Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Works, a subsidiary of the Russian mining and steel producer Evraz Group.

The contract includes supply of transport systems with cooling bed for the finishing line in a rail rolling mill. The system consists of roller tables, length stops, cooling bed, pass over beds, central hydraulic installation and electrical equipment.

The equipment is planned to be supplied by the end of 2010.
