Ferrexpo’s iron ore pellet output up 5.3 percent in H1

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has announced that in the second quarter of 2019 its overall iron ore pellet production increased by 10.8 percent quarter on quarter to 2.81 million mt. Ferrexpo did not use any third-party materials in its production during the given quarter.

In the first half of the current year, Ferrexpo's iron ore pellet production amounted to 5.35 million mt, up by 5.3 percent year on year. In the given period, the company’s iron ore pellet sales volume is anticipated to have increased by approximately four percent to 5 million mt, compared to the first half of 2018.
