Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate output up 8.8% in May

Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in May this year its iron ore concentrate production increased by 8.8 percent year on year to 977,100 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 51.78 percent year on year to 255,000 mt.

In the January-May period of this year, Evraz UGOK's iron ore concentrate production increased by 6.58 percent to 4.612 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period rose by 3.16 percent to 1.14 million mt, both year on year.
