Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate output up slightly in May

In May this year, Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, increased its iron ore concentrate production by 0.1 percent year on year to 877,500 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 23.8 percent year on year to 172,000 mt.

In the January-May period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 3.8 percent increase in its iron ore concentrate production to 4.326 million mt and a 20.3 percent increase in its agglomerate output to 899,000 mt, both on year-on-year basis.
