Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in June this year its iron ore concentrate production increased by 7.3 percent year on year to 944,900 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month decreased by 17 percent year on year to 113,000 mt.
In the January-June period of this year, Evraz UGOK's iron ore concentrate production increased by 6.7 percent to 5.558 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period rose by 0.9 percent to 1.253 million mt, both year on year.
