The European Commission (EC) has announced that it has increased the definitive antidumping (AD) duty rate on imports of stainless steel cold-drawn wire from India's Venus Group from 11.6 percent to 12.4 percent, while decreasing duty rates for five other Indian exporters.

The commission imposed a definitive antidumping duty on stainless steel wire import originating in India in 2013 and received a request for the initiation of a reinvestigation of the measures in force in October 2014 from the European Steel Association (EUROFER) on behalf of producers.

The products in question fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7223.00.19 and 7223.00.99.
