Esfahan Steel commences supplies of H-beam

The Iranian steel producer Esfahan Steel Co. shipped its first cargo of H-beam to the domestic market at the beginning of September, having begun trial production of the product in July. Esfahan Steel is the first Iranian mill to produce H-beam, with an annual production capacity of 2.2 million metric tons.

Currently, Esfahan Steel produces H-beam in accordance with DIN 1994 standard and in No.160 size. Meanwhile, the production of other sizes, such as No.180, 200 and 220, is already in process and they are expected to be supplied to the market in the near future.
