EMZ completes converter reconstruction

The Ukrainian steel producer Enakievsk MZ (EMZ), a subsidiary of Metinvest Holding, has announced the completion of scheduled repair works at its oxygen converter No. 2, located in the mill's oxygen converter workshop.

As a result of the converter reconstruction, EMZ has been able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the converter in question by 14.2 percent.
