Italy-based beam producer Duferco Travi e Profilati, a subsidiary of Luxembourg-based Duferco, will start production at its new beam rolling mill at its San Zeno Naviglio plant, Brescia, Italy, in mid-June this year, according to media reports.
The reheating furnace at the rolling mill, which is hydrogen-ready, was commissioned on May 29.
With the new mill, the company will be able to reach an annual output of 1.5 million mt of long products, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
