Dongkuk Steel inks slab deal with Corus

According to the statement released by South Korean steel producer Dongkuk Steel, the company has signed a deal with Teesside Cast Products, a subsidiary of Anglo-Dutch steel producer Corus, to supply slabs from the company for a ten-year period. In line with the deal, Dongkuk will supply 4.27 million metric tons of slabs from Teesside Cast Products until 2014. The slabs will be made into steel plates used in construction and ships.
