Dneprospetsstal's crude steel output up 40% in March from February

Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) has announced that it registered a month-on-month growth of 40 percent in its crude steel output in March this year, totaling 24,099 mt, while its finished steel output in the given month increased by 29.6 percent month on month to 14,207 mt.

During the January-March quarter, Dneprospetsstal's crude steel output amounted to 57,083 mt, down 18.9 percent, while its production of finished steel was 37,153 mt, down 11.3 percent, both compared to the same period of the previous year.
