Disgruntled Ukrainian mills may stop supplying PHS

News from the industry reveals that Ukrainian steel mills, which are displeased regarding the Polish Huta Czestochowa (HC) tender resulted in favor of LNM, plan to stop their supply to the Polskie Huty Stali (PHS). In case this happens, LNM stated that feedstock will be procured from its mines in Kazakhstan. As reported by SteelOrbis last week on Friday, LNM Holdings finally signed a social package agreement with trade unions. And the acquisition is scheduled to be concluded today. In the tender held for HC, Ukrainian steel producer Donbass couldn't complete as the winning bidder although its bid was slightly higher than LNM's. Besides, no official statement was made.
