Iberdrola Mexico will supply local steelmaker Deacero energy over a 17-year timeline, Iberdrola said this week.

Iberdrola said it will supply Deacero electricity out of its El Carmen plant located in the state of Nuevo Leon.

Deacero may extend the existing contract for an undisclosed additional period, as Iberdrola expands its energy supplying capacity in Mexico. Iberdrola didn’t disclose details on when the energy supply contract would start.
