Danieli Corus to rebuild hot blast stove for US Steel Kosice

Danieli Corus, the supplier of tailor-made solutions for the primary metals industry, has announced that it has received an order from US Steel's facility in Slovakia, i.e., US Steel Kosice, for the rebuilding of its hot blast stove 24.

This is the first stove in decades which will be rebuilt at the Kosice facility. The new design will allow US Steel Kosice to operate its hot blast system in 3-cyclic mode vs. the current 4-cyclic mode. This introduces substantial CAPEX savings, since only three of the existing stoves will have to be rebuilt.
