Taiwan-based steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that China Steel Sumikin Vietnam (CSVC), its Vietnam-based joint venture with Japan's NSSMC, produced its first galvanized coil at its continuous galvanizing line on July 25, indicating that all the four main production lines of CSVC have come into production and will supply the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets with high quality steel products for automobiles, home appliances, building materials, structures and so on.

The company's annealing and coating line produced its first electrical steel coil in April this year and its continuous annealing line produced its first cold rolled coil in June.

According to CSC's statement, the various products have been sent to customers for the purpose of understanding the level of product quality, and also to find out potential problems through feedbacks from customers.
