CSC sees increase in May sales volume

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in May this year its steel production volume totaled 766,501 metric tons, increasing 0.2 percent compared to April and down 0.5 percent compared to the same month last year.

In May, CSC's sales volume was 820,866 metric tons, up 4.5 percent compared to the previous month and 4.8 percent year on year.

In the month in question, the steelmaker's sales revenues amounted to NTD 19.59 billion ($655.6 million), increasing by 3.27 percent month on month and decreasing by 5.4 percent year on year.
