Crude steel output of Iranian state-owned mills rises by 11 percent

Iranian state-owned steel plants produced 9,667,000 mt of crude steel and 9,568,000 mt of finished steel products in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2010 - January 20, 2011), representing respective increases of 11 percent and 15 percent compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year - according to the newly pubished figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
