Coal mining suspended in Shizong in China’s Yunnan Province

According to an announcement made on November 15 by Kunming Iron and Steel Group (Kunming Steel) which is based in China's Yunnan Province, due to a recent accident at a local mine named Sizhuang Coal Mine in Shizong County in Yunnan Province, the coal mining industry bureau of Shizong County has suspended all coal mining activities in the county. As a result, Kunming Steel has halted all its coal mining operations in Shizong County, affecting its subsidiaries Walu Coal Mine, Dashe Coal Mine, Jinshan Coal Mine and Wuyi Coal Mine. No date has been specified for the recommencement of mining activities.
