On September 22, the China and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in early September (September 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.6476 million mt, up 0.18 percent compared to late August (August 21-30).
According to the CISA's previous figures, in late August this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.6446 million mt, down 4.43 percent compared to mid-August (August 11-20).
