CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up slightly in early Oct

On October 16, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in early October (October 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.800 million mt, up 0.8 percent compared to late September (September 21-30). 

According to the CISA's previous figures, in late September this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.7858 million mt, down 0.13 percent from mid-September (September 11-20).

Meanwhile, as of October 10, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 15.689 million mt, up 5.2 percent as compared to the figure recorded on September 30.
