CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up 5.05% in early April

On April 20, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in early April (April 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.6948 million mt, up 5.05 percent compared to late March (March 21-31).
 
According to the CISA's previous figures, in late March this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.6133 million mt, down 2.18 percent compared to mid-March (March 11-20).
