On December 26, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in mid-December (December 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.7819 million mt, up 1.85 percent compared to early December (December 1-10).
According to the CISA's previous figures, in early December this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.7490 million mt, up 2.11 percent from mid-November (November 11-20).
Meanwhile, as of December 20, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 14.8827 million mt, up 1.18 percent as compared to the figure recorded on December 10.
