CISA mills' average daily crude steel output down 0.35% in late Jan

On February 10, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in late January (January 21-31) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.6881 million mt, down 0.35 percent compared to mid-January (January 11-20).  

According to the CISA's previous figures, in mid-January this year, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.6941 million mt, down 5.09 percent from early January (January 1-10).

Meanwhile, as of January 31, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 14.767 million mt, up 0.03 percent as compared to the figure recorded on January 20.
