CISA: China composite steel price index decreases during June

According to the data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), as of the end of June (June 30) this year, the composite steel price index (CSPI) for the Chinese domestic market was at 109.45 points, down 1.65 points or 1.49 percent month on month, while decreasing by 6.35 points or 5.48 percent on year-on-year basis.  

At the end of June, the CSPI long steel index was at 116.26 points, down 1.59 points or 1.35 percent month on month and decreasing by 3.24 points or 2.71 percent year on year, while the CSPI flat steel index stood at 105.21 points, decreasing by 1.77 points or 1.65 percent month on month and down 9.53 points or 8.31 percent year on year.
