Chongqing Steel inks supply agreement for 2014 with GSI

On December 17, Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel), a subsidiary of Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., announced that it has signed a supply agreement for 2014 with major Chinese shipbuilder Guangzhou Shipyard International Co. (GSI).
 
Guangzhou Shipyard International Co. (GSI), which is a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), is the largest modern integrated shipbuilding enterprise in southern China and is among the 500 biggest enterprises in China. Founded in 1954, GSI's core operations are focused on the construction of handysize ships.
