In October this year, China produced 3.151 million mt of common medium plate, 2.063 million mt of thick steel plate and 646,000 mt of super-thick steel plate, down 2.5 percent, 11.8 percent and 1.7 percent year on year, respectively.
In the January-October period of the current year, China produced 34.073 million mt of common medium plate, 21.489 million mt of thick steel plate and 6.564 million mt of super-thick steel plate, up 1.1 percent, down 2.7 percent and rising by 7.5 percent year on year, respectively.
