China’s CPI rises 4.2 percent in November

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in November this year the overall consumer price index (CPI) in China rose by 4.3 percent year on year, constituting the lowest year-on-year growth rate to date in 2011.
 
In November, the producer price index (PPI) in China climbed up 2.7 percent compared to the same month last year, but was down 0.7 percent month on month. Meanwhile, the producer purchasing price index rose by 5.1 percent year on year and was down 0.7 percent from October. During the first 11 months of 2011, the average producer price index (PPI) in China indicated an increase of 6.4 percent from a year ago, while the producer purchasing price index rose by 9.7 percent year on year.
