China’s coking coal imports up 56.6 percent in August

In August this year, China’s imports of coking coal amounted to 6.49 million mt, increasing by 56.6 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In the January-August period this year, China’s imports of coking coal totaled 37.94 million mt, up 17.5 percent year on year.
