China’s coking coal imports increase by 41.5 percent in January-April

In the January-April period this year, China imported 23.84 million mt of coking coal, up 41.5 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In April alone, China imported 7.43 million mt of coking coal, up 59.4 percent year on year.
