China’s coal output decreases by 6.4 percent in January-April

In the first four months of the current year, China produced 1.12 billion mt of coal, down 6.4 percent year on year, while coal sales in China in the same period amounted to 1.05 billion mt, declining by 7.8 percent year on year, as announced by the China National Coal Association (CNCA).

Meanwhile, according to the CNCA, in the January-March period this year China's large-scale coal producers recorded an aggregate operating revenue of RMB 613.83 billion ($99 billion), down 10.8 percent year on year.
