China’s coal output decreases by 6.3 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 490 million mt, down 6.3 percent on year-on-year basis, shifting from the year-on-year rise of 2.4 percent recorded in December last year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). At the same time, China imported 68.06 million mt of coal in the January-February period this year, up 33.1 percent year on year.
