China Shenhua Energy’s net profit up 4.9 percent in Q1

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in the first quarter this year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 62.979 billion ($10.0 billion), up 3.1 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 11.633 billion ($1.85 billion), up 4.9 percent year on year.
