Major Chinese coal mining company China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd has announced that its coal sales amounted to 38.7 million mt in August this year, up 14.5 percent year on year. The company said the increase in coal sales in the given month was mainly due to increased purchases from outside users and the rise in the company’s coal output.

In the first eight months this year, China Shenhua Energy sold 294.6 million mt of coal, up 6.2 percent year on year.
