China Coal Energy’s hard coke output rises 10 percent in 2009

China Coal Energy, China's second largest state-owned coal mining enterprise, has announced its production data for 2009. The company's total output of raw coal in 2009 came to 108.56 million mt, up by 8.2 percent year on year, its hard coke production amounted to 4.43 million mt, up 10.2 percent, while its trading volume of coal was 96.76 million mt, up 9.1 percent year on year.

In December 2009, China Coal Energy's output of raw coal was 8.53 million mt, down by 0.8 percent year on year, its hard coke output came to 410,000 mt, up 51.9 percent, and its trading volume of coal was 9.39 million mt, up 35.7 percent year on year.
