Chengdu Plate Co. commissions pickling units

On March 24, Chengdu Plate Co., subsidiary of fellow Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group, commissioned two pickling units which are designed to produce pickled coils weighing eight metric tons.

Chengdu Plate has both modernized the technology at its existing pickling unit while establishing a new acid regeneration unit at the same time. Together the units are designed to have an annual aggregate capacity of 500,000 mt.
