Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chengde Iron and Steel Co. (Chengde Steel) has announced that its steel bar plant has successfully produced 6 mm diameter HPB 300 plain round bar, marking a big step forward for the steelmaker in the production of plain round bar.
Since the second half of last year, China has witnessed an increase in domestic production and sales of HPB 300 round bar amid the upgrading of steel used in the construction industry.
