On July 21, Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced unchanged long steel prices for late-July (July 21-31).
1. Hebei Steel Group subsidiaries Tang Steel, Xuan Steel and Cheng Steel's prices of wire rods and rebar are unchanged. Their prices are as follows:
The ex-works price of HPB 235 6.5 mm high speed wire rod stands at RMB 4,830/mt ($749/mt), the ex-works price of HRB 335 18-25 mm rebar is RMB 5,000/mt ($775/mt), the ex-works price of HRB 400 18-25 mm rebar is still at RMB 5,050/mt ($783/mt), while the ex-works price of HRB 400 8-12 mm weldable deformed bar stands at RMB 5,130/mt ($795/mt).
2. All product prices of Hebei Steel Group subsidiary Han Steel remain unchanged. Han Steel's prices are as follows:
The ex-works price of HPB 235 6.5 mm high speed wire rod stands at RMB 4,850/mt ($752/mt), the ex-works price of HRB 335 18-25 mm rebar is at RMB 4,880/mt ($757/mt) on the theoretical weight basis, the ex-works price of HRB 400 18-25 mm rebar is at RMB 5,030/mt ($780/mt) on theoretical weight basis, while the ex-works price of HRB 400 8-12 mm weldable deformed bar stands at RMB 5,150/mt ($799/mt).
All the above prices include VAT, and are effective from July 21
