Hebei Province-based Chengde Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of the Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Co (Hebei Steel), has produced 300 mt of 25mm HRB 600 high-strength earthquake-resistant rebar.
HRB 600 high-strength earthquake-resistant rebar production might enable a reduction in steel consumption volumes, resulting in a significant energy saving and emission reduction.
