ChEMK’s net profit rises by 42 percent in Q1

In January-March of the current year, the net profit of Russian ferroalloy producer Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Works (ChEMK) increased by 42.1 percent compared to the same period of 2010, rising to Ruble 579.701 million ($20.6 million). Also in Q1, ChEMK's revenues increased by 34.6 percent year on year, reaching Ruble 8.026 billion ($0.3 billion).
