The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that it has initiated a normal value review to update the normal values and export prices of certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe exported from South Korea to Canada by Husteel Co., Ltd. (Husteel).
According to the CBSA, if the exporter does not provide a complete response to the CBSA’s Request for Information (RFI) by the deadline date, normal values for subject goods exported by Husteel will be determined by advancing the export price of the goods by 88.1 percent, pursuant to a ministerial specification.
The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7304.19.00.10, 7304.19.00.20, 7305.11.00.10, 7305.11.00.20, 7305.12.00.10, 7305.12.00.30, 7305.19.00.10, 7305.19.00.20, 7306.19.00.10 and 7306.19.00.90.
The CBSA’s normal value reviews are conducted to ensure that normal values and export prices in place accurately reflect current market conditions.
