The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that it has made a final determination of dumping in respect of certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from South Korea.
Accordingly, the CBSA has calculated final dumping margins ranging between 4.1 percent and 88.1 percent for South Korean companies.
The CBSA stated that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by January 4, 2018. Provisional duties will continue to apply on imports of subject goods originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea until that date.
The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7304.19.00.10, 7304.19.00.20, 7305.11.00.10, 7305.11.00.20, 7305.12.00.10, 7305.12.00.30, 7305.19.00.10, 7305.19.00.20, 7306.19.00.10 and 7306.19.00.90.
