CAP S.A. subsidiary to supply iron ore for Chinese steelmakers

Chilean iron mining and steelmaking giant CAP S.A. announced Thursday that its iron ore subsidiary Compania Minera del Pacifico will supply iron ore pellet feed to China's Xinyu Iron and Steel Co. and Hong Kong-based Teamgo Resources.

Beginning in 2013, the CAP SA subsidiary will supply Xinyu Iron and Steel Co. 1 million metric tons of iron ore pellet feed per year for 10 years, and 500,000 metric tons of iron ore pellet feed a year for 10 years to Teamgo Resources.
