Canada’s Teck Resources achieves coking coal sales targets for Q2 again

Canadian mining firm Teck Resources has announced its unaudited sales volumes of coking coal in the second quarter of the current year.

In the given period, the company sold 6.2 million mt of coking coal, which corresponds to the previously announced guidance of 6.2-6.6 million mt. In the second quarter of last year, Teck Resources had also achieved coking coal sales targets with 6.3 million mt.

The company’s average realized steelmaking coal price in the second quarter was at US$264/mt.
